What We Build

Pool installation services we offer in Northern New Jersey

Every pool project is different. Yard size, soil type, local setback codes, and your budget all shape the build. Here is what EverClear installs and how each option works.

Gunite Pool Construction

Steel rebar and pneumatically applied concrete shaped on-site. Complete control over depth, contour, and finish. The most durable option for Northern NJ's freeze-thaw cycles.

Vinyl Liner Pool Construction

Custom-shaped vinyl pools that install faster and cost less upfront. Hundreds of liner patterns and color combinations available. Typical liner life is 7 to 10 years.

Pool and Spa Combinations

Attached spas integrated into your pool design with shared or independent heating and filtration systems. Built as one unit during construction to avoid retrofitting costs later.

Water Features and Add-Ons

Waterfalls, sheer descents, bubblers, deck jets, and LED lighting designed into the build from day one. Electrical and plumbing roughed in during construction for cleaner installation.

Pool Decking and Hardscaping

Concrete, pavers, natural stone, or stamped overlay installed around your pool. Graded and drained properly so water flows away from the pool and away from your foundation.

Fencing and Safety Barriers

New Jersey requires a minimum 4-foot barrier with self-closing, self-latching gates around every inground pool. EverClear installs code-compliant fencing as part of the build.

Landscape Integration

Plantings, irrigation, drainage, and lighting installed around the pool so the yard functions as one connected space. Coordinated with the pool build timeline to avoid rework.

Every project starts with a free estimate.

Common questions about pool installation

Pool installation costs vary based on pool type, size, site conditions, and finish materials. Gunite pools typically cost more than vinyl liner pools due to custom shaping and longer build times. EverClear provides a free written estimate after an on-site consultation so you know the full cost before signing anything.

Most inground pool projects take 3 to 6 months from design approval to completion. Weather, permitting timelines, and project complexity all affect the schedule. EverClear provides a projected timeline during the design phase and updates you at every stage.

All warranty terms are provided in writing before construction begins.

Yes. EverClear pulls all required NJ building, electrical, and plumbing permits and meets the inspector on site at every required checkpoint. Permit fees are included in the quoted price.

EverClear Pools & Spas holds NJ Home Improvement Contractor license #13VH06118200. The company carries full liability and workers’ compensation insurance on every project. Proof of insurance is available on request.

An adult 18 or older should be available for the initial site survey and the final walkthrough. During construction, the team sends daily updates with photos so you can follow progress whether you are home or not.

It depends on your budget, your yard, and how long you plan to stay in the home. Gunite offers unlimited shape options and lasts longer. Vinyl installs faster and costs less upfront. EverClear builds both and recommends based on your specific situation, not a default specialty.

Financing is available for qualified buyers. Visit /financing/ for details or ask about payment options during your free consultation.

Most NJ municipalities require pools to be at least 10 feet from property lines, though some towns allow 5 feet on narrow lots. Pools cannot be in the front yard. EverClear reviews your lot survey and local zoning before design begins.

EverClear assesses soil and drainage during the site visit. Retaining walls, French drains, or engineered grading may be needed depending on conditions. These are included in the estimate so there are no surprise costs mid-build.
