Sunrise Lake is a man-made lake located in Mendham, New Jersey. It was created in the 1950s as part of the Morris Canal system, and is now used for recreation and fishing. The lake has a surface area of approximately 60 acres, and is stocked with bass, trout, catfish, and other fish. There is also a swimming area, picnic tables, and a playground.

This lake is open Tuesday through Sunday, with admission fees of $7 for adults and $5 for children ages five to 15 (seniors and children under four are free). The park is open to the public daily during the summer and closed only in the last week of August, unless a holiday falls. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t enjoy the park’s amenities.

Nearby, you can visit the Seeing Eye, Inc., a guide dog school, located one mile to the east. Fosterfields, a living history farm, is located about 2 miles to the northeast. All of these attractions will keep you entertained throughout the day.
